Executive Team
Mark Zook
Mark Zook has been with Maps Credit Union since 1992 and is currently serving as president and CEO. Zook also serves as CEO of Maps Service Agency and sits on the board of managers of both the Willamette Business Group and Ongoing Operations—two of Maps Credit Union’s partially owned subsidiary companies.
Zook has a diverse educational background, with an MBA from Southern Oregon University, a master’s in educational leadership from the University of Oregon, and a bachelor’s in business administration from Western Oregon University. He also completed the BAI/Emory University Graduate School of Executive Bank Management in Atlanta, Georgia.
Chris Giles
Chris Giles, the Chief Member Experience Officer, oversees our branches, payments, and digital services. He began his career at Maps in 2004 and joined the organization full-time in 2005. Initially serving as General Manager of the Maps subsidiary company CU Wireless (CUW), Giles was named CEO of CUW in 2015. In 2017, he was chosen to head up the newly created Strategic Payments function at Maps. In addition to Payments, Giles leads a cross-functional team tasked with creating best-in-class digital tools for our membership.
Chris speaks at credit union industry events across the U.S. including annual meetings of the California, Nevada, Oregon, and Connecticut Credit Union Leagues, National Association of Credit Union Service Organizations (NACUSO), the Marketing Association of Credit Unions (MAC), and AXFI. He has spoken on a variety of topics including: emerging payments trends, data analytics, product innovation and Customer Experience Management.
Toni Silbernagel
Toni Silbernagel joined the Maps staff in 1991 and has held key positions throughout her tenure with the credit union. Silbernagel began as the Director of Dealer Services before being named the head of consumer lending in 1998. Since then, Toni has held the positions of SVP of Lending, Chief Lending Officer, and currently, Chief Revenue Officer. Silbernagel also serves on the Board of Managers as the Secretary of Maps Insurance Services.
Silbernagel is a graduate of the Salem Chamber of Commerce Leadership program and CUNA’s Consumer Lending Executive Development School and has earned designations for Credit Union Business Lending Professional (CUBLP) and Credit Union Development Educator (CUDE). Throughout her career, she has participated as a member and a President of the Salem Credit Association, is active in the Salem Automobile Dealers Association program, and served on grant selection committees through the Salem Chamber.
Scott Sadler
Scott Sadler joined the Maps organization in 2014 as an executive coach and leadership consultant, before being hired full time in 2020 for the newly formed role of Chief People Officer. Sadler also serves as the leader of the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion committee and serves on various other strategic task forces at Maps.
Before coming to Maps, Scott had been self-employed since 1989 and has owned several businesses—his most recent as a consultant, executive coach, trainer, and speaker. He holds two coaching certifications, one in life coaching and the other in executive coaching. Sadler has coached and trained hundreds of leaders across the country in a variety of industries and is a certified mindfulness facilitator for the workplace.
Rachel Pross
Rachel Pross joined Maps Credit Union in 2016 and provides strategic leadership for the Operations division of the organization. Pross also serves as one of the founding board members of Evergreen Armored Transport, one of the Credit Union’s operational subsidiaries. Governmental affairs is an important part of Rachel’s role at Maps, and she regularly visits with legislators and regulators both in Salem and in Washington, D.C. She testified to Congress twice in 2019 in favor of the SAFE Banking Act, and she is a frequent guest speaker at events across the nation on topics ranging from regulatory compliance to leadership. She has contributed to HuffPost Money, The Hill, and many industry publications.
Pross holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Grand Canyon University’s Colangelo College of Business. She also studied violin performance at The Ohio State University and is a High Honors graduate from Western CUNA Management School, a three-year credit union executive management program.
