Advanced Business Money Market accounts are insured up to $3.25 million.  This exceptional level of coverage is attained through a combination of federal insurance provided by the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA) and private insurance from Excess Share Insurance Corporation (ESI).

ESI’s Coverage
First NCUA’s basic federal coverage insures all credit union members’ deposits up to $250,000.  
Second, Advanced Business Money Market Accounts exceeding the maximum level of coverage provided by NCUA are also insured up to an additional $3 million by ESI.

Maps Credit Union is offering this additional insurance provides our non-profit and business members the peace of mind that their funds are safe and secure at the credit union.  ESI only offers this service to financially strong institutions.
